So it’s still officially Summer, and still extremely hot in NC, so is it wrong to wish for a little bit of Fall?? Kids are returning back to school and people are getting back into their routines… it’s not too much to ask – right? Haha.. I know the temps are going to do what they want to do, so I am going to try incorporate a little bit of Fall on my own by putting some plaid in the mix! Plaid for me really signifies cooler weather mainly because I wear it with jeans and boots (most of the time), and it’s usually full of richer and darker colors. Goodbye hot pink, hello navy, red, and grey! When we received this plaid print from Fabulous Finds Boutique, I was a smitten kitten- and even though it is a little heavier in the fabric ( 100% cotton), I was going to figure out how to wear it now! I think I succeeded! You can’t go wrong with denim shorts and the cutest animal prints slides to accessorize the look! I love this hi lo hem, the handkerchief style, and of course the color way!! I also love mixing prints! Plaid and animal print are my absolute favorites, and wearing them together is the best way to wear them!
