This was my first “Back in L.A” outfit, and I wanted it to be a good one!! I have been living in below 30 degree temps for the last couple of weeks, so the reality of wearing an off the shoulder top was like whoa!! 70 plus degrees basking on my shoulders? Loving it!! Plus, I was able to wear color in January!! No more gray, brown, or black! Hooray!! I will say that while some people were wearing sandals, I stayed true to wearing my otk boots because, after all, it is January people. May I also say, that I realize I have been wearing these boots A LOT… but what can I say?? When I love something… I really love something!! HAHA!!

The next day I met one of my best friends, Justin, at Bottega Louies in Downtown L.A… This place had everything! Brunch, Cocktails, Desserts, and it was such an amazing space.. we both enjoyed eggs benedict and had a good time catching up!

This was my dinner outfit for our last night in town…I hardly ever wear black on black, but I packed light, and with the chilly nights I knew this poncho would be perfect. We went to Blue Ribbon Sushi at The Grove. It was fantastic!! We shared their Rainbow Roll and Braised Beef. Afterwards we took a stroll around and ended up at Nordstrom of course… so much selection!! It’s hard not to shop when you have all that in front of you!! Which leads me to my next pic…..

I bought this sweater for the ride home…couldn’t resist!! So cozy! Plus the coloring and the open weaving will let me wear it for a while! Well, this rounds up my trip. Los Angeles will always have a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to go back!
