So the last post was all about the US Open, the matches, the excitement, that dress….lol.. today’s post is a quick follow up to that. I’ll just be touching on where we stayed overnight before we had to head back home to NC. This trip we stayed at The Peninsula Hotel which is located on 5th Avenue, just moments away from St.Patricks Cathedral, The LOVE Sculpture, Henri Bendel’s ( hence the new bag), and Central Park. The staff is super friendly, they have beautiful floral arrangements everywhere, and it smells amazing. If I ever find out what the scent was in the hotel I will buy it and spray it in my own home..it was so pretty!

We ended up eating dinner that night at the hotel’s restaurant Clement. Such a beautiful and friendly atmosphere, that served the most amazing comfort food, and had the best views. It felt so nice just to relax with my mom and talk about the day.
The next morning I wanted to visit the LOVE Sculpture before we left. It was right up the street from the hotel and we got there around 10am. At that time there was a group of about 10 people, and even then it was a little rushed. Everyone was just jumping in to take pics! When we left to go to the airport at 11, there was about 50 people in a single filed line! So, if you are there for NYFW, or are visiting anytime soon, this is a hot spot for pics!
