I know that you have seen me in a lot of white dresses or rompers lately…BUT I promise this dress is different! I have been eyeing the “tie front” trend for a while now, and wasn’t quite sure if it was for me. Mainly because I didn’t know if it was going to be too risque (for me), where I would wear this style, is it adjustable, there were just so many questions! There was one thing that I couldn’t deny…and that was how much I liked the style and wanted to wear it LOL! So I took the plunge and ordered this Leith dress from Nordstrom.. and I LOVE it!!
A few things about this dress…it comes in two colors (white and yellow)… I wasn’t sure about the new style and pop of color so I opted for the white. It is lined, has adjustable straps (yay), and zips up the back. Also, the tie is not sewn so you can adjust it to fit loose or tight depending on your preference. The top of the dress is sheer, so luckily wearing a strapless bra worked out! You can probably pin it to the bow if you so it stays, or else wear sticky boobs!
The verdict: The Tie Front style will be an addition to my closet this summer for sure! There are a few printed pieces I’d like to try, like this one by Astr..
